Yewli- proper name. Used in place of Julie by children 4 years and under.
Usage - My little cousins could never properly say my name Julie - it was always pronounced Yewli. "Yewli, will you help me?"

what is balderdash?
you see them all the time--those word-like verification words when you comment on a blogger blog. but now, here we have an entire blog devoted to fabulous made-up definitions of these words that don't exist but probably should.
hey guys
i keep throwing good balderdash words into draft posts so as not to lose them (when i'm away from my otherwise copious lists of them which are lying all over the house) or don't have the now-approaching 13 page document i'm saving them in open. please feel free to USE these if they strike your fancy.

is it just me?
or do you also keep seeing "resnes" as a WV word? and "dinessi"--doesn't that show up multiple times?

I have a good friend named Joanne. One of my kids called her Joey-Anne one day and the name has stuck since!

Elizabeth always came out as "Dibbida". To this day my sibs still call me Dibbi.
