pranato - someone who puts bits of dark washing in with a load of whites. pranato is not a nice person because, accidentally or not, the affected washing never turns out okay.
variation of pranato would be repranato - someone who puts a red sock into someone else's white load thus turning everything sreaky pink. repranato usually does this on purpose, which is mean.

what is balderdash?
you see them all the time--those word-like verification words when you comment on a blogger blog. but now, here we have an entire blog devoted to fabulous made-up definitions of these words that don't exist but probably should.
hey guys
i keep throwing good balderdash words into draft posts so as not to lose them (when i'm away from my otherwise copious lists of them which are lying all over the house) or don't have the now-approaching 13 page document i'm saving them in open. please feel free to USE these if they strike your fancy.

or do you also keep seeing "resnes" as a WV word? and "dinessi"--doesn't that show up multiple times?

there was a pranato at my house recently and now my white washcloths are not so very white. :-( which means a trip to ikea in my near future...
I am currently doing laundry. What is it called when clothes have dark stripes on a mostly white shirt - and why do I buy these? knowing full well that they will cause pranato through out the whole wash?
