teridgr - A Finnish condition. Involves incessantly complaining of hot weather from the second the temperature rises to 22 degrees celsius, after having spent the entire year waiting anxiously for the summer and the heat to arrive.
Use: If you are already suffering from an old-lady's case of teridgr don't be having hot coffee all the time. It'll just make you feel worse. Grumble...

what is balderdash?
you see them all the time--those word-like verification words when you comment on a blogger blog. but now, here we have an entire blog devoted to fabulous made-up definitions of these words that don't exist but probably should.
hey guys
i keep throwing good balderdash words into draft posts so as not to lose them (when i'm away from my otherwise copious lists of them which are lying all over the house) or don't have the now-approaching 13 page document i'm saving them in open. please feel free to USE these if they strike your fancy.

or do you also keep seeing "resnes" as a WV word? and "dinessi"--doesn't that show up multiple times?

We Canadians suffer from the same thing. And I never understood why Mma Ramotswe would have hot tea when she complained about the heat.
The Swedes also have a severe case of teridgr.
Oh, yes, the English too!
My teridgr grows worse every summer. I am looking forward to the days when my aged voice will cackle to request my sweater!
